Woman Demands Justice After Two-year-old Daughter Was Allegedly Found Dead In Lagos School Swimming Pool

Ella shared the unfortunate story on Thursday, asserting that her little girl, who left for school on Wednesday, didn't get back home alive.

A social media client, essentially recognized as Ella, has taken to microblogging stage, X (previously Twitter) to request equity following the disastrous passing of her two-year-old little girl purportedly at a Lagos tuition based school.

Ella shared the unfortunate story on Thursday, asserting that her little girl, who left for school on Wednesday, didn't get back home alive.

In her post, Ella wrote, “Dear Lagos State Government, our daughter of two years old went to school yesterday (Wednesday) and did not return alive.”

She questioned the school’s safety measures, saying, “How do you have a pool in school premises without proper monitoring? They lied she drowned in the pool, but we have been able to find out that it’s electrocution, and they dropped her in the pool to look as if it was drowning.”

Ella further alleged the school’s lack of transparency about the incident, adding, “Now, they are lying to other parents that school is closed because of maintenance instead of telling the truth.

“If nothing is done to close down that school, other parents may cry for their own kids attending the school.”

Highlighting concerns over the school's safety, Ella wrote, “The pool has barricades. How can a child of two years climb? Please help us get justice for our baby. She just celebrated her second birthday November last year. She left home well for school on 15/1/2025 and never came back alive.”

At the point when SaharaReporters reached the Lagos State Police Advertising Official, Benjamin Hundeyin, for input, he didn't answer calls as of the hour of documenting the report.
