"I need my little Precious" - Nigerian man demands justice for his daughter who was allegedly 'beaten to death' by a woman

  A local musician from Benue State, Jerry B Achirkpi, has cried out for justice over his young daughter, Precious, who he claims was beaten to death by a woman.  Jerry started crying for justice and help on November 17, 2022, when he raised an alarm on Facebook over the alleged 'kidnapping' of Precious.  "HELP OOOOOOOOO. Kidnapper give me my daughter, where are you PP. PRECIOUS please come back. Your daddy miss you. Come and see your new born brother EXCELLENT. Someone should help me. London court denies Ekweremadu bail again

  The Central Criminal Court, London, has denied bail to former Deputy Senate president, Ike Ekweremadu. In the pre-trial hearing on Tuesday, the court gave its verdict denying the bail on the grounds that he was a flight risk. The court in its decision cited the letter and assets forfeiture proceedings against the senator by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission. The bail application, Ekweremadu’s lawyer had argued that the Nigerian High Commissioner to the United Kingdom and the Attorney-General of the Federal had written to the court that Ekweremadu was not a flight risk. The lawyer also argued that a guarantee to produce him should he pose a flight risk was given and that the Nigeria High Commission in the UK had equally given the option of tagging Ekweremadu electronically to monitor his movement. The wife of a Lagos medical doctor, Femi Olaleye, who was  accused of rape has told the court how he allegedly gave her sleeping pills in the night to be free to allegedly rape her 16-year-old niece. Aderemi Faleye spoke before the Sexual Offences and Domestic Violence Court in Ikeja, Lagos State on Monday, December 19, 2022. Olaleye is facing two-count charge of defilement of a child and sexual assault by penetration. The alleged rape victim, turned 18 years old in March. The managing director of Optimal Cancer Care Foundation was arraigned by the Lagos State government in November 30, 2022.  He pleaded not guilty to the charge preferred against him.   A notorious gunman identified as, Chukwuma Ejionye, has been arrested by the operative of local vigilante in Ezinifitte, Nnewi South Local Government Area of Anambra State. The native of Awo, Ezinifite in Nnewi South has been linked to different attacks in Ezinifitte, and the entire Nnewi South. Panic in Ogun communities over alleged threat letter from suspected herdsmen

  Residents of Asa, Agbon, Ibeku and Oja-Odan communities in the Yewa-North Local Government Area of Ogun State have been thrown into fear after receiving a threat letter from unknown persons they claimed to be killer herdsmen. It was gathered that the unknown herdsmen were said to have written to residents of the communities, threatening to invade some strategic places in a reprisal attack. According to the notice pasted on walls across the villages on Saturday, December 17, 2022, the assailants informed the residents of their plan to attack the communities soon. In the letter written in English and Hausa languages, the said herdsmen notified leaders of the communities to expect them between December and January, 2023.
