Gunmen Raid Supermarket In Abuja, Cart Away Money, Phones, Rings, Airpords, Car Keys And Others (Video)

Seven armed men invaded  a departmental store in Abuja on Friday,30th September 2022,and carted away items such as money, phones, rings, airpods, cars and others.


Journalist Luciano who shared the story online said his friend was among those that witnessed the robbery.

Posting a CCTV footage that captured the moment the robbers entered the departmental store, Luciano wrote;

''ABUJA IS NO MORE SAFE!!!

This happened to my friend @iammex_official

Yesterday the 30th of September at about 9:30pm, Armed gang of about six or seven persons entered a store in Abuja (Jekor Pharmacy, beside Regent School, opposite Yoruba mosque) and ordered everyone to corporate and lie down else they will be shot.

They made away with valuable items such as money, phones, smart watches, gold chains and rings, airpods, car keys, and other belongings.

They fled the scene in a white haice bus, with a purple diplomatic license plates) which they snatched from one of the customers at the store.

The matter has however been reported to the Maitama police station and currently undergoing investigation.

Please keep your eyes open ooo, the FCT is not safe anymore.

MultiChoice Nigeria , the popular entertainment and satellite television service provider, has been slammed with a hefty fine of ₦766 million by the Nigeria Data Protection Commission (NDPC) over violations of the country's Data Protection Act . The development marks a major move by Nigerian authorities to uphold data privacy and ensure organizations are held accountable for mishandling personal data. The NDPC’s investigation revealed that MultiChoice was involved in what it described as " intrusive data processing " practices. These included collecting and handling the personal data of both subscribers and non-subscribers without proper consent. Furthermore, the commission found evidence that MultiChoice engaged in cross-border transfers of Nigerian citizens’ data without complying with legal protocols. Nigerian blogger Olufunke 'Angels Empire' Afeh is set to appear in court on April 8 following her recent arrest and detention in connection with allegations of cyberstalking and harassment.

Legal troubles are on the horizon for blogger and philanthropist Olufunke Afeh , famously known as Angels Empire . Her forthcoming arraignment at the Federal High Court in Lagos on April 8 has garnered public interest regarding the details of her arrest, extended detention, and eventual release on bail. On February 19, 2025, SaharaReporters brought to light that the police had leveled 11 charges against Afeh, accusing her of various offenses, including cyberstalking and harassment of multiple individuals, notably Mr. Obidi Anthony and his daughters, Nancy Ume and Korra Obidi .
