The issue began after a video of Mr P's children speaking French circulated on social media. PDP suspends ex-Abia Reps member, Abonta for alleged anti-party activities

The quick past part who addressed Ukwa East and Ukwa West Government Voting demographic, Hon Uzoma Nkem Abonta, under the foundation of the People groups Progressive alliance (PDP), has been suspended from the party.

A portion of the reasons they claimed include: hostile to party exercises, factionalization of the party in the ward, proudly exposing the party to a few court suits with no response to the PDP inside system of resolving clashes and debates, his arrangement as the Representative Chief General of the All Reformists Fantastic Collusion (APGA) in the 2023 general political race and his public acknowledgment of the said arrangement, his refusal to surrender the bike given to the Ward Director by Congressperson Enyinnaya Abaribe, his conspicuous refusal to pay the party duty for quite a while at this point, and his open deserting to APGA at their party's Secretariat in Umuibe, Akwete, the change of his home to APGA Secretariat in the Ward, his open mission against the party in the last broad political race, and a few different offenses.

Dubai Jails Nigerian Lady For Filming Maltreatment, Family Kicks

A Nigerian woman, identified as @dunchichi on Twitter, has been reportedly sentenced to a one-year jail term by the United Arab Emirates government for a social media post, showing how some Nigerian nationals were illegally detained at Dubai international airport.  On August 31, Lar had taken to her  Twitter  page to share photos and videos of herself and other people she identified as Nigerians being detained at the Dubai international airport. The development marks a major move by Nigerian authorities to uphold data privacy and ensure organizations are held accountable for mishandling personal data.
