Aminu Adamu: Aisha Buhari Deactivates Twitter Account, Injury Worsens

First Lady Aisha Buhari has deactivated her Twitter account amid outrage over the arrest of Aminu Adamu.

The final year student of Environmental Management and Toxicology at the Federal University, Dutse, Jigawa State, was taken from the campus on November 8.

The 23-year-old is being detained without trial for his Twitter post on the President’s wife.

“Su mama anchi kudin talkawa ankoshi” (The mother has got fatter by eating masses’ money), he tweeted in June.

The undergraduate made the comment four months into the eight-month strike by the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU).

Nigerians continue to drag Aisha, the Police and the Department of State Services (DSS) over Aminu’s fate.

Their anger grew after the revelation that her Aide-De-Camp, Usman Shugaba, allegedly coordinated the youth’s arrest and torture.

Daily Nigerian reported that Aisha allegedly supervised the beating of Aminu and Zainab Kassim (her former social media aide).

According to Jar'afar, Aminu was not arrested  by the operatives of the Department of State Services but by plain-clothed policemen.

It has been revealed that the First Lady, Aisha Buhari reportedly sustained an injury while trying to beat a Nigerian student, Aminu Mohammed arrested for accusing her of spending Nigeria's money and getting fat.

This was made known by Jar'afar Ja'afar, Publisher of Daily Nigerian.

According to Ja'afar Ja'afar, the First Lady slipped and fractured her leg while attempting to throw a kick at the student.

Describing what happened, Ja'afar said ''From my findings, it was not SSS but plain-clothed policemen who arrested & totured a final year student @aminullahie and another lady Zainab Kassim(a former social media aide to First Lady). The operation was engineered and executed by Aisha Buhari's ADC Usman Shugaba.

'' It my sound like a fairy tale, but the following is actually what transpired: the duo were beaten to a pulp in the presence of Mrs Buhari by three security aides. While  Aminu and Ms Kassim were being beaten, the First Lady felt that they were not beaten them well, so she joined them.

As she made attempt to throw a kick, she slipped and fractured her leg. It was the injury she suffered during the assault that took her to Cedar Crest Hospital for treatment.

While Ms Kassim was released on the condition that she would not speak ti the press, the final year student may face trumped-up charges of defamation. This sad for democracy''.
